May 2, 2012, Wednesday: Technology Trends for Nonprofits Brown Bag Lunch
Is your non-profit taking advantage of the technology trends that encourage people to make on-line donations or sign-up to volunteer? Do you even know what those trends are? Learn about “Technology Trends for Non-Profits” during a free brown bag lunch sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at the Heritage Complex, 2664 Riva Road, in the Chesapeake Room on the second floor. Presenter: Mickey Gomez from the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County. Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided. Taking Care of You — COVAAC has several workshops on how to make sure YOU are caring for yourself — and not just your volunteers! Register now for Volunteer Management Trainings offered at the AACC Arnold Campus from 6:00 - 9:30 pm on the following dates. Each workshop costs $29 (includes a $5 materials fee).
